This diagram shows how we utilise ontologies, converting them to taxonomies in our Ontology Management Systems (OMS), and serving it up as controlled vocabularies (CVs) through Access Point Interfaces (API). Our conversion process from ontologies to taxonomies also converts public ontology URIs to in-house Novo Nordisk (NN) URIs and maps them using Simple Standard for Sharing Ontological Mappings (SSSOM)
